Our Italian made La Spaziale coffee machine produces a quality cup of freshly brewed coffee every time. Our coffee beans are sourced and roasted by our friends at Coffee Real in Horsham.

A bit of history

My name is Julia. I started my working life in the catering industry after gaining my City & Guilds 706-1 and 2 from Bath Technical College. From Somerset I moved to London to fulfil my dream of becoming a head chef. Moving to Surrey in the mid-1990s my career diverted into education which was more suited to family life. In more recent times I have worked in a variety of local, independent hospitality businesses which have ignited my passion for seasonal, locally sourced, quality ingredients.

From a young age I have dreamed of owning and running my own tea shop. The opportunities that stem from operating out of a shop would have been limited, so I looked for an alternative, arriving at the idea of a coffee van, as suggested by a good friend of mine. So, I bought 'Marjorie' the H van in January 2022. She looked a lot different then! She had been used as a coffee van but needed a bit of a makeover.

Firstly I removed everything from inside deciding that she needed a new look including having the roof lifted by 20cm so I could work comfortably in her. Of course she then needed a respray in my favourite colour, red!

I have named her Marjorie after the lady who left me some money enabling me to buy the van and live my dream of owning my own business.
